I finished the top of this small quilt last night. It's made up of 25 squares (5") I cut from used huipiles. I'm pretty pleased with how they lined up - not too crooked! :)
Now it's time to work on putting the back and binding...

i kid-it looks lovely. i'm still afraid of my sewing machine, perhaps one day i will kick the perfection paralysis and dive in. keep us posted...

I hand-sewed a quilt, which took a couple years, since I didn't work on it very regularly. It was supposed to wind up twin sized, but I got tired and did one less row lengthwise. I love to wrap it around myself on cold night, when I'm sitting on the couch watching tv. :)
