Fabric Collage: "Paz"

I used some of my favorite fabrics to make this geometric "collage", including scraps from the first two huipiles I ever bought, back in October. I particularly love the animals on the green fabric, which I believe is from Tactic. The long, colorful piece at the bottom is from Chichicastenango. Other pieces are from towns such as Tecpan and Nahuala. The backing is fleece, and I used fabric glue to attach all the pieces, then hand-sewed the edges of each piece.

The design is about 13 1/2" X 7", with several inches of fabric around it.
